Executive Coaching: Career Enhancement

The Executive Lawyer LLC coaches lawyers who wish to enhance their careers by developing new skills and talents or by further developing the skills and talents that they already have.

Some lawyers arrive in our offices with a clear idea of the areas that they wish to develop, based on their own self-assessment or on specific feedback that they have received from their firm or corporation. These may include skills in the areas of presentation, networking, marketing, communication, mentoring, leadership, time management, stress management, work-life balance and so on. With our client as the guide, we provide focused coaching in the areas that they have identified. With our assistance, our clients are able to identify the specific skills that they need to develop, take steps to acquire those skills, and overcome the hurdles that are holding them back from peak performance.

Some lawyers come to us with a vague sense that they need to do something differently, but they are not able to identify the areas in which they may be under-performing. We offer a number of assessment tools to assist our clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, clarify their values and understand their natural preferences. Once they have a clear idea of what these are, we work with them to develop a plan to optimize their performance in all areas of their lives.
